Hi!!!
I have to say that i am not the best at computers or working with new technologies and I'm sure it has shown, but i am continually working on learning the new and up coming inventions. I first learned that their are so many new technologies that come out every other week and that you will never have the best and newest technology because their is always going to be something coming out that is going to be better, nicer and more efficient for the everyday person. What i found extremely frustrating is Dreamweaver. Probably one of the things that i dreaded the most was working with this technology. I'm very happy that i got the chance to work with something that i have never done before, but i seriously was not feeling this invention of technology. Hopefully when i am introduced to this again i will have some kind of knowledge on how create a somewhat good looking web page that people can enjoy. I enjoy learning new things and how to work them, but i feel like it takes me just a little longer to become familiar with different technologies, though i also think that if it is more complicated then something else it might take me a little longer. I just need more time to let myself become more knowledgeable on how to navigate my way through programs or projects. I love the new IPad. Though it may seem bias i really like working with them. They are easy to understand and work with and i am a huge magazine and newspaper reader and you can find the most current ones in just seconds to read. I have also used one while flying and i thought it pretty much saved my life from boredom and thinking about dieing because the turbulence was so horrible i thought it was the end for me. I hope that i will never have to use Dreamweaver again just because i didn't have enough time to understand it and it seemed so confusing for me, but if i had the chance to learn it more extensively i think i would learn to love it. Having a web page would be great and maybe my mom could sell her jam that she makes every year. Three take-a-ways that i think will be great for myself to remember is that technology is always changing with time so i will never have the best and most up to date technology. Next would be blogging. I have never blogged in my life and i really enjoy it. I have a few friends who blog on their Facebook and i have always thought about doing it, but never knew what i would talk about and now maybe i will give it a chance. Last, but I'm sure not least is that i actually learned what kind of learner i am when it comes to learning new navigation skills and technologies, such as Dreamweaver. It takes me more time then usual to get familiarized with the new tool so maybe i could start learning a couple weeks in advance to the class.

Technology that has impacted my life!
Hi!!
All technology is evolving every single day and and rapidly changing to fit the lives of many different types of people with different job types and life styles. Something to fit the ordinary everyday person who all the stresses in the world that come along with being human. All technology has enhanced my life in some way and for the most part in a good way. I would have to say that Skype has really taken the cake in this race. It helps me stay connected with the people that i love. One of the main reasons why i have chosen this technology to be the greatest impact on my life is because it was such a life saver when my brother was over in Iraq and on his base in Texas. It gave my family and i a sense of calmness when we saw him and knew that he was ok. It gave a chance to talk with him about things that were going on that he wanted to talk about or things that we needed to send him that he and his platoon could use. It was just really nice to be able to see his face and feel like he was physically here with us and im sure that he felt like he was closer too by seeing us on the computer. Hopefully it gave him comfort to know that we love him and pray for him and his men everyday and night and wait for the day that they come home safe. I also use Skype to talk to my friends in other states going to college or living in another destination. There are only a few girls and guys that i have kept in touch with since i graduated high school. It's nice to be able to talk to them and see them in their destination. I sometimes get jelaous because i have a friends who lives in LA and she skypes with me while she is on the beach. While it is freezing and rainy here, she was sitting on the beautiful beach at 80 degrees watching the waves and surfers come in. I then relized that one day i hope that is me. The nice thing about Skype is that it can be done from anywhere and even though my sister doesn't live out of state i can still skype with her even if she was in the next room. Skype has affected my life in many different ways and it has all been for the better and I am so happy that this technology was invented before my brother enlisted with the Army because it made our lives just a little bit easier and hopefully his too to deal with the seperation for the long periods of time.

Changes with Technology!
I have been a waitress since i was eighteen years old and i actually really enjoy it and enjoy the people i work with, but for some reason I'm not very good at ringing alcohol drinks in and i seem to screw them up every time. The Apple Corporation keeps on changing the drinks on our menu and we are at about 2,000 drinks that we can make and it can sometimes be overwhelming when everyone at the table is talking at once and the noise level in through the roof and theirs people walking into.you. The technology that i would love to adopt that would make my waitress life way easier is a key pad at all the tables and the guests could type in what they want for a drink, whether it be an alcoholic drink or non-alcoholic drink. Then i would not have to worry about taking five minutes to ring in one tables drink orders. I think that we as waiters and waitresses would be able to rotate our tables faster, thus making us more money in the end. That probably sounds really greedy, but that is how we make our money. The faster when rotate your tables the faster you will get sat again . I think that their could be a few barriers and obstacles that the restaurant industry would face if we put this technology on all of our tables. First the costumers would need to know how to use the pad. Hopefully they could make it in alphabetical order so it would be easy to understand and access at the tables. Secondly, maybe people enjoy the interaction with a waiter or waitress to order drinks, so when they ring in the wrong thing or don't like it they have some to yell at or blame (hahahaha). Something that might hurt us is that the customer might not want to tip us more since we didn't take their drink order, but with the key pad we would still serve them the drink, they wouldn't get it themselves. I might cost a little to put them in, but in the end i think it would make our life a lot easier and less stressful, thus giving the table and people better service.

My Personality!!
Hi Everyone!!
I took this quiz and received the letters ENFJ, Extroverted, Intuitive, Felling and judging, which is weird because i don't think i judge people as often as i see others judge me, but anyways i thought this assignment was awesome. I have heard about this before and have never really thought about it as deep as i did today. I think that this quiz just skims the top of my personality and who I am as a person. I think this is a good way to start off by finding out about yourself, but in reality a person evolves and learns different things everyday and you continually change as a person through the experience's that you have. I learned that I can adapt easily and that i love being around people. I mean i knew this already, but i think that it is pretty cool that a little test can bring this out. One thing that i thought really didnt fit me is that it says im judging. I think everyone judges, but im not a very judging person when it comes to meeting people for the first time. I get along with all different types of people and would be the first person to talk to someone who is different in any kind of way. Maybe judging is a good thing in a way, it probably kept me out of trouble in high school. I think that you could use this technology in many different types of settings, especially in the work place. You could give these tests to new people who got hired or maybe getting hired just to see what maybe show up. At the end of the test their is a place to click where it has possible job areas that ENFJ personalities usually end up, which is also pretty cool. I looked at the famous people who have my letters and i thought it was awesome to see that alot of news reports have my letters because hopfully someday i will be a news reporter or something in that area.

Leaders of Technology
Hi,
I don't think that there is one particular person or group that has taken the leadership role, whereas i believe that all theses groups and individuals have together created technology at its best. A little something from everyone has created this massive want and need for their products. As of right now I think that Apple is doing a great job at creating new and different technologies that people find easy and fun to work with. Anything that can make life a little easier is worth getting if the price is right! I think Apple is in the running for being the leader because in the past year they have created the Apple Ipod Touch, the Apple Ipad, the IPhone and not to mention they are still selling the Apple computer and laptop. There are now Applications that you can download on to your phone and ipod, such as games, dietary regiments,spreadsheets, TV, web browsing and much more for many different types of people with different kinds of jobs.

When adopting a new technology sometimes it takes time to understand and get the hang of how to use it. As technology becomes more advanced, so does way that we are able to use it. Facebook.....
Hello!!!!
I want to start off by saying that I think facebook is a great way to communicate with with old and new friends, friends whom live close and far and even for some people to keep in contact with the ones they love, whether it be with a boyfriend, spouse or someone who is fighting in the war. With every new technology that comes out there are going to be pros and cons. I believe that all three of the articles have valid points and are something to consider when you are thinking about joining facebook. Privacy is a huge issue with me and I think everyone would agree. There are extra steps that you have to take when joining any sort of group on the internet, such as setting your profile to private so only the people you want seeing your information and pictures are only allowed, having updated spyware or any virus protecting software, keeping your password to login to facebook only your information and most of all logging off facebook when you are done, not leaving it open for some random person to hack into. As the rules start to change in facebook i do take a minute to think about if i still want to remain a user of it. I don't think I will forever be a user of it,but as of right now I'm happy with the way it is being ran. All of my uses with facebook is just to keep in contact with my friends who live in other states and friends who I rarely get to see. I encourage everyone to become a user as long as you take extra precautions to protect yourself and your personal information. If facebook started charging a fee I don't think that I would remain a user just because I have enough things to pay for and I don't need to add something else to the list.

Future Libraries/ Persuasive Paper Websites!
Hi!
To be totally honest I really don't venture in to libraries very often unless is with my young cousins to get books to read for them. Not that i don't like libraries, I think they are very informational and it gives people a quite and nice place to read or do homework and they have many resources for just about anything and we all know variety is a good thing. I hope that future libraries are all accessible through the internet, though i do know that their is a variety of information from libraries that you can get through the interent. Sometimes the library can be stressful and can almost make you annoyed. Their is a certain way you have to find a book or inofrmation, then you have to walk all through the library to look for it and sometimes after all that you cant find it, so then you have to find someone to help and that can turn into a pain. On the internet you can type it in a finf it. No hassle and it takes less time to find it. It would just be alot easier and faster to go on the nternet to find inforamtion the library has to offer.

I picked all of these websites because they really layed out why online shopping is becoming so popular nowdays. People are so busy with other things that they don't have time to drive all the way to the mall and spend hours browseing and loking for presents and especailly during the Christmas season people don't want to deal with the millions of people who are running around with their heads chopped off. It can also be cheaper to buy online in bulk then individually. They also have lots of sites that are dedicated to online shoppers and coupons.
